Our verdict

NTT DATA's market-based footprint was 6,452,788 t in FY2025, covering all 15 Scope 3 categories, up 18.7% on FY2024; Scope 1 and 2 fell 9.8% but Scope 3 rose. It says 71% of its electricity is renewable, with no group split between contracts and unbundled certificates; its data-centre unit names 675 GWh through PPAs and plans to cover the shortfall with unbundled certificates. SBTi lists its absolute targets: Scope 1 and 2 down 68% and Scope 3 down 42% by FY2030. LRQA's limited assurance of the Global Data Centers data is marked 'qualified opinion'. LobbyMap says Keidanren, which it belongs to, has engaged negatively on climate policy.
