ITV's reported footprint fell 20% to 259,264 tCO2e in 2025, mostly the programmes and services it buys; it also estimates viewers' device energy at 394,165 t, which it leaves out of its total and targets. Its renewable electricity share fell from 65% to 60%, missing its 100%-by-2025 target, largely because it bought fewer certificates. It has SBTi-validated absolute targets and links executive bonuses to emissions. It recycles only 34% of its waste against a 90% goal, and publishes no water or nature data.
