About Telewizja Polska

It had about 3,160 employees at the end of 2025 and revenue of over PLN 3.4 billion in 2024. Company documents describe it as in liquidation under resolutions of December 2023; Rzeczpospolita reported in July 2025 that the then chair of the regulator KRRiT considered this a breach of the rules.

Our verdict

SINK found almost no environmental data from Telewizja Polska: no carbon footprint, renewable energy commitment, waste strategy, water reporting or emissions target. Company documents describe it as in liquidation, a status the then chair of the regulator KRRiT was reported in 2025 to dispute, and University of Warsaw researchers wrote that it prevents a long-term strategy. No environmental fine, greenwashing ruling or fossil-sector revenue figure naming the company was found.

Telewizja Polska scores 20/100 (Significant gaps) on SINK's independent climate assessment, scored from public data only. Scores are free. Companies can never pay for anything about their own score. Last verified November 2026.

That places Telewizja Polska joint 950th of 994 companies scored, and joint 27th of 29 in Media / Entertainment / Publishing.
